Irish whiskey is the most famous drink of Ireland. Irish whiskey is different from Scotch Whiskey in its distillation process and malting. "Single malt Whiskey” and “Pure pot still Whiskey” are the famous Whiskeys of Ireland, they are mixed with Grain Whiskey to create blends. They are usually consumed either neat or mixed. “It is believed that the more expensive the whiskey, more smooth its taste will be. Irish whiskey is best served either on the rocks or in room temperature.
A trip of Ireland is incomplete without tasting its famous Beers. Ireland has been brewing its Beer, stout and ale for centuries. The Stout beer “Guinness” is considered by many to be the national drink of Ireland. Guinness is exemplary of Irish beer but connoisseurs warn it is an acquired taste.
